Sarah Myers

Sarah Myers is a writer, editor, and content strategist currently living in Bentonville, Arkansas. By day, she creates digital education content for Walmart sellers—think videos, scripts, and guides that are as strategic as they are readable. She’s the voice behind seller learning, but also the brain planning it—aligning content with business goals without losing the human touch. By night, she teaches hot yoga and cooks BLT pasta.

Before Walmart, Sarah lived in Chicago for a decade, where she wrote essays, arts reviews, and editorial content for publications like Thought Catalog, Chicago Stage Standard, and Today’s Chicago Woman. She also worked in higher ed—most notably as Assistant Director of Communications at Columbia College Chicago, where she ran marketing campaigns and engagement strategies that celebrated artists, students, and the beautiful chaos in between.

After moving to Northwest Arkansas, she took on roles that spanned everything from strategic comms at BNSF Logistics to producing live newscasts for 40/29 News, an ABC affiliate. (Yes, that means she’s written for both 6 a.m. newscasts and CEO talking points.)

Sarah joined Walmart in 2018 writing product descriptions for private label brands and worked her way into content strategy, where she now blends creativity with clarity on the daily. Whether she’s writing a headline or slice-of-life essay, Sarah brings voice, thoughtfulness, and just the right amount of mischief to everything she writes.
